I promote disabled people enjoying sex and relationships by running an internatinonal club, the Sex and Disability Helpline, the Sexual Heath and Disability Alliance (now starting SHADA International), TLC website for disabled men and women to find responsible sex workers, and the Sexual Respect Tool Kit. To fund all these, we run the Sex Maniacs Ball and the Sexual Freedom Awards

Hi Penny,

I had the great fortune of seeing a couple of your shows years ago. Great fun, great entertainment and more than enough food for intellectual thought... Hitler Mouse raping the doll was clearly a standout moment. I like the new version of the "painted Ladies" in Times Square!! Good parenting is probably bringing your children to Disney and not dragging them to NYC to get a photo with a grungy Elmo with questionable morals... just one man's opinion. Hedvig with NPH didn't match the magic of a Penny Arcade show... Thanks for making my life more interesting...

In any event I thought I would sign your guestbook and see if you had any upcoming projects.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Be well,

Thanks for all you have done and are doing for Hooly Woodlawn. So sorry to hear of Holly's sad loss of her home. I think I need to make another donation to the go fund me. campaign for Holly as she is now facing even more heartache and sadness. Holly has enriched my life and many others since I first became aware of Holly in the Morrisey- Warhol days. Her memoir is a classic look at a life lived on the edge through courage, bravado, and sheer brilliance and wit. I will never let Holly go and was lucky enough to meet her in Kansas City in the early 70's it a premier of " Scarecrow In A Garden of Cucumbers screening! In person, Hooly looked much different than on film, looking beautiful and elegant in a classic white gown and a fabulous pulled- back chignon hair statement that showed off her beautiful face! She was sweet, funny, and very endearing to the audience. Never forget meeting Hollyand have tried to follow her ever since. I am praying for Holly's recovery and the return of some joy to her life. I now love you for who you are and the love and compassion you have shown. Thanks so much for keeping us posted on Holly's condition. If I had Bruce Jenner or Caitlyn's resources, I would do everything I could for Holly who lived the life as her own and paved the way YEARS ago for the blossoming trans movement that Caitlyn is so shamelessly exploiting for her own good. I hope Caitlyn at some point gets it although she doesn't even appear to know anything about Holly which I find so hard to believe. I cannot wish her well until she gives back some of what's been done by Holly and others before Caitlyn made a bit of a spectacle of this whole thing. Anyway Penny, love to you, take care, and let Holly know a lot of us DO care!
Love Gary Banta

Loved your show on August 15th. Was that a sample of Veteran's Day Poppy I could hear? If you're looking for good books I'd recommend 'The Bald Trilogy' by Ken Campbell.

I came out to see Longing Lasts Longer with my 22 yr old LES born n bred "biological imperative", who herself mourns the East Village of her youth (heh, she was born in 1993, I've been here since 1977) and who rails against "gentrification" which she calls "the fucking devil" ... and I feel like we went to church. The gospel of Penny had me saying YEAH and clutching my heart. Now my kid understands why I ran screaming out of suburbia at 20 yrs old with 50 bucks to my name and why I fell in love with the squalid hotbed of freedom-to-be-who-you-are that was this place. Now she understands why I never made it a goal to get my daughters a "nice house" or a Nintendo.
